Anke Sayn Rainbow set up Desayn to create quirky, unique metal jewellery and object art. Her jewellery is inspired by life and love and her art by locations and landmarks.
Anke, who is a part-time teacher, creates her pieces with sterling silver and mixed metals as well as other natural resources she finds on the beach such as sea glass, sand and old pottery.
Anke has recently added a gift and homeware range to her portfolio.
She says she loves creating her jewellery and art because it means no two days are ever the same.
She donates partial profits from her North East landmarks collection to local charities to support the homeless.
