Helen Grierson
Helen Grierson has been a glass artist, living and working in Northumberland for over 18 years. She fell in love with glass after attending an evening course, while she working as a teacher in London. Since then, she has never looked back, working alongside some of the best tutors to perfect her craft, as well as many years experimenting in her studio.
Helen says working with fused glass is like alchemy - you never quite know what will happen in the kiln and the effect leaded glass can have on a room is just magical, almost spiritual.
"My journey as an artist is about nurturing my creativity and having the courage to let that spirit take me wherever it may lead, yet never losing the ability to play".
Helen also runs a variety of workshops and welcomes commissions.
