Ray Quickfall is a self taught artist, born in Newcastle with a love for his home city and the surrounding area.

He received a BA in fine art at the age of 63 and is author and illustrator of ‘Quays To Newcastle’.

He paints mainly in watercolour but occasionally also uses oils and acrylics. His main subjects are nocturnal scenes of Newcastle and other local towns.

He is inspired by his favourite artists Eduard Cortes and Dusan Djukaric.

Below is a small selection of Ray's work. All are watercolours and come framed. His limited editions prints are the same size as the originals and are also mounted and framed. Measurements given here are the framed sizes.
