Alison Diamond-ROGERS

Alison Diamond-Rogers is an artist/printmaker, who explores various techniques, such as etching,aquatint, screen printing, linocut, wood engraving and monotype.
She is a Member of Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, Northern Print Studio and Allendale Forge Studios.
"My printmaking reflects my experiences, influenced by my northeast background. I use the human figure in many works, individuals carrying out everyday activities."
"I aim to imply that the individuals depicted, experience a genuine quality of life that may not, on first impression, be apparent."
Alison has a passion for drawing, perspective, colour and pattern through the diversity of print media. She works as an academic tutor at Sunderland University teaching printmaking for Illustration and freelance artist/consultant within community settings. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and recently shown at Baltic Gateshead, The Awagami Factory in Japan and Printfest Ulverston 2022, where she received the Haighs Award.
