Art at Paxton is series of new Tin Shed arts' events for 2026 at beautiful Paxton House, at Paxton Village near Berwick-upon-Tweed. 

We are staging two annual, two-day weekend arts' fairs in March and August and monthly Tuesday pop-ups. All events take place in the refurbished Ballroom and occasionally, also on gazebos outside.

All the Paxton events take place in the newly refurbished Ballroom (former Picture Gallery) and weather permitting, we will also have a few outdoor stalls near the courtyard and front of house.

Artist Kevin Nicholls will also stage free painting demos during the day, so please pop in at any time to see him at work and pick up a few tips. All our events at Paxton House are free entry, so hope you can pop along to say hello.

We are looking for artists of all kinds and artisan makers who make from scratch, using traditional methods in a contemporary way.

Spring Arts' Expo 2026

Huge thank you to everyone at Paxton House, to the talented artists and makers and the visitors who joined us at our first Arts' Expo at Paxton House in March 2026.

It was a huge success, and we had some wonderful sales with artwork heading off to new homes.

We return to the Ballroom at Paxton every month, on third Tuesday (please see dates as some vary) and also for a two-day Summer Art at Paxton event on August 29 and 30, which will be bigger than March, with some artists outside in gazebos and stalls. 

Here is a reminder of everyone who was with us in March. If you are an artist or maker and would like to join us, we still have spaces inside and out at our monthly Tuesday event and outside only in August (indoors is fully booked).
