Art at Paxton

Paxton House, Paxton, Berwick-Upon-Tweed

Art at Paxton is series of new arts' events  for 2026, at beautiful Paxton House, at Paxton Village near Berwick-upon-Tweed.

We are staging two weekend arts' fairs and exhibitions - one to mark the start of Paxton's opening season on

Saturday and Sunday March 28-29

and the second on Bank Holiday weekend

Saturday and Sunday August 29-30.

The August event replaces our regular Art in the Castle fair at nearby Ayton Castle which can't take place next year as it's up for sale.

We will also stage new monthly Tuesday pop-up artisan makers' fairs in Paxton's refurbished Picture Gallery and outside in the grounds.

Tuesday Dates 2026

April 21; May 19; June 16; July 28; Aug 18, Sept 15, Oct 27

All our Art at Paxton events will all take place in the gorgeous Picture Gallery, which is being refurbished ahead of next March, and weather permitting, also a few outdoor stalls near the courtyard and front of main house.

We are looking for artists and artisan makers to join us there to exhibit, sell and stage demonstrations and workshops.

Please email  info@thetinshed.co.uk   tell us about your work and sent a few images or link to it.

We just want to take this opportunity to say what a fantastic time we all had at our recent Ayton Castle event and would like to thank the owners, estate factor and all the staff who have welcomed us there for the past 3 years. We hope we may be able to return one day depending on what the future holds for the castle.

Here are the artists and makers who joined us at Ayton Castle in 2025
