Tricia started to paint seriously when she retired from teaching in 2002. Working mainly in watercolours and inks she finds much of her inspiration in the towns, villages and landscapes surrounding her home in the Scottish Borders. She describes her painting style as eclectic, and she likes to experiment with new techniques.
Tricia who trades as Eptas Arts online has also completed many fine art commissions, embodying a vast range of subjects including pet portraits. She also used her teaching skills to help those wishing to learn how to draw and paint – providing lessons either in her Yetholm based studio or at a client’s home.
