Joanna Bourne

Joanna, a printmaker specialises in woodcuts, inspired by the landscape and her garden in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

"I also find inspiration in places that have a personal connection where my prints portray a memory in a time or place".

Joanna also makes collages using proofs of her woodcuts which didn't make the edition. She has exhibited her work across the UK, including being selected several times at Printfest in where in 2014 she was voted Printmakers' Printmaker.

Joanna is a member of Northern Print in Newcastle, where she teaches woodcut classes.
