Róisín Lyst

Róisín is young artist from Northumberland, whose work is inspired by music, atmosphere and people. Using warm distinctive colours in acrylics, she explores themes including music, dance, relationships and sentiments.

Róisín launched her business selling animal portraits when she was just 13, however she became increasingly interested in the atmosphere of city life, particularly jazz bars and pubs, while studying in Liverpool. She would often sit in a corner observing and sketching. Some of her paintings begin as a sketch - others from a line of poetry, a piece of music or other inspiration.
