Graeme Stark

Graeme Stark is a self-taught, freelance photographer, based in the Northeast of England. 

He has over 30 years' experience working in various photographic genres across the UK and further afield.

His work is a mixture of traditional film and digital photographs, taking inspiration from a number of influences, including landscapes from the Northeast and Scotland.

His never-ending curiosity and fascination with collective folk rituals and festivals across the globe, and the people who participate in them drives him to photograph whenever he finds them.

Graeme is also interested in post-industrial architecture and has spent years photographing the old mines of Teesdale, Weardale and North Yorkshire.
