Hannah, who lives in Northumberland, originally studied sculpture, working mainly in found and recycled materials on a large scale.

A lack of studio space led her to take up photography, inspired by the landscape surrounding her home. This is something she still enjoys, but a printmaking workshop several years ago introduced her to a medium that suited the way she had always wanted to work.

"I love the way you can take ink on and off the plate, make marks using any material, use a roller like a paint brush, the freedom and the

incredible colours of the ink" 

Hannah says she loves the excitement and trepidation of not knowing exactly how the prints will turn out.
