Zena is a printmaker, painter and photographer who produces single, original monotypes using acrylics. She likes the exhilaration and imprecision of printing and is always excited by the results. Through her work, she explores and expresses remembered moods and experiences, rather than the immediate world around her.

Zena has lived in various cities across Europe, including spending time in Valencia in Spain and also England's Devonshire coast. These influences all feature in her work, from the endless forms of the sea to random, fragmentary images from the past.

Now living in County Durham, she is a member of Sheffield Printmakers and curates Volta Gallery online for international women artists.
