Ellie Davison-Archer is a textile designer and printmaker specialising in hand screen-printed homewares and accessories. After graduating in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts, Ellie moved back home to Northumberland where she has her studio at The Old Bath House at Broomhill.
Ellie gets inspiration from things she finds when she's beachcombing and foraging...something she's done since childhood. These include natural objects, discarded curiousities and vintage oddities. They then become designs which start life as meticulous sketchbook drawings, which are developed into layered compositions and patterns for print.
She then uses traditional screen printing methods onto fabric in a series of natural colour palettes to create her stunning interior products, designed to bring the outdoors into the home.
