The Butler Who Stole The Silver

Imaginary Friends

Artist Peter Hallam's work is instantly recognisable due to his unique style of portraiture and use of colour.  Many of his paintings are based on real people Peter has met, but they often take on many forms before he's happy with the final piece.

Based in the Scottish Borders, Peter who is largely self-taught has been a professional artist for more than 20 years.

His work is becoming increasingly collectable and regularly has sell out shows at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle, where he is part of this year's Winter Exhibition.

We're delighted to be able to share part of that exhibition here and feature him in our Spotlight On section where we've been finding out more about him and his work.
