Yvonne Bentley

Yvonne Bentley, known at YvyB, began working as a professional artist and illustrator after a career in retail. She now has her own studio and gallery at Mickley in Northumberland's Tyne Valley.

Yvy has worked on a number of projects, including solo and group exhibitions. In 2020 she was selected by the BBC to showcase Peaky Binder fan art for a poster campaign for series 5.​

Working in watercolours, oils or pastels, she takes much of her inspiration from the beautiful countryside on her doorstep. Her paintings consist largely of land and seascapes, wildlife and florals. She also takes commissions.
